This is informal and enthusiastic while maintaining high standards even for the earliest beginner.

Ann's approach has always been one of patient encouragement, and she aims for the pupils to find enjoyment and a sense of achievement in their music.

A young pupil once wrote to her 'Thank you for teaching me, you do it in a kind way', her gentle approach to the younger ones apparent.

Private pupils are taught from Ann's home in a relaxed environment. With many years of experience as a teacher and professional musician, she encourages the younger pupils, and can bring the more experienced ones along with their technical skills and musicality.
