Grades Taught
Grades are set by the Associated Board
of the Royal Schools of Music, from Grade 1 - 8.
Piano - Beginner
through to Grade 8
Theory - Beginner
through to Grade 5
The Piano Prep Test is usually included
as a useful stepping stone for the younger beginners before
Grade 1.
Theory is taught up to Grade 5 level.
To progress with piano exams beyond Grade 5, the theory element
is required by the Associated Board.
